So I'm back home in Portland this week, having a spell.. taking it easy and having a good time..

Raced over in Philadelphia the other day made it about 240k of the 252km before detonating.. Hendi placed second after having to stop and re leave(number2) him self three times during the early km's.. pretty impressive.

After Philly we headed to Minnesota for the nature valley GP, Fair to say the legs were not great for the early stages but they came around by about the third day.. wee Mikey took a fine third in one of the stages and with that took the best young rider jersey.. Heading into last day we lost the young rider jersey but it was to fellow team member bobby.. 

All in all not a bad week for the boys 1st and 3rd in Young rider comp.. it took a pretty big effort from those two and myself and Jim to keep it in the team.. top effort boys..

So three weeks at home(with 4th of July down in Ashland) then up to Canada,Boise and cascade..

It's been a while.

Well it's been quite a while since Ive made a post of this thing, a lot has happened since then tho. Me and the team have raced at sea otter against the bissell quatlent, raced at tour of Gila against some guy called Lance Armstrong and his pals Levi and Chris, where Roman pulled off the big W.. We've been to Joe martin stage race.we've even had a couple of fun rides for the LAF and visited a couple of hospitals along the way. 

In the last three weeks tho we've been doing the local scene and filling the podium..

Cass and I along with the cat have moved as well to a sweet new apartment, heaps bigger,nicer,newer and a huge out door area that our patio opens out onto but more importantly a BBQ, I'd been missing not having a BBQ over here especially with how the weather has turned here in Portland, its all sunshine and high temps..efiin brilliant..

On the from front it finally feels like the legs are starting to come around and maybe just in time with Philly on the horizon.

Theres been some epic training done in the past few weeks including a 50mile ride to a 80 mile race..big day that one..

Yesterday we even had a bit of a showdown at the Oregon team time trial championships, two teams of four landrover-orbea riders, and to make it more interesting we split in to team kiwi and team USA. To be honest they never stood a chance with the kiwis coming out on top.. The yanks cause wasn't helped by losing one of there riders in the first 50yards of the race...

Off to Philly for the big one on Thursday and then on to Minnesota from there for another tour..
